Life as A Family of 4!

Well it sure as been a while since our last post. As everyone knows our little girl was born on June 30th, 2011 at 7:56pm. I was induced at 6am and all drugged up so it was pretty much just a long day of waiting. Having a new little one around the house has been both a joy and a job. I have always been a fashionably late type of girl but now i am a notoriously late one. I haven't quite mastered the art of getting out of the house on time. At first sleep deprivation wasn't to big a deal because i could sleep in whenever i needed or napped here and there with chase being able to fend for himself a little bit. Now that he is back in school i have a lovely 6am wake up call whether or not Lillian kept me up all night. My mornings now consist of trying to juggle getting a hyper active little boy ready for school one armed with a hungry fussy baby in the other. I am loving the challenge and adoring our new family, however our plans for 2 back to back children have currently been re-discussed and Lillian and Chase are going to be waiting a little longer for a new sibling.
We are loving South Carolina and being so close to family. Getting to make weekend trips to GA or NC are quite the blessing (no more 18 hour drives). Chase is enjoying his new school and making friends quickly both there and in theneighborhood. He is such a good big brother and loves Lillian to pieces. Next on the agenda will be a visit from some more of Bryan's side of the family for labor day weekend, my mother on the 7th of October, and then of course the baptisms of Lillian and cousin Camden in November.

Home Sweet Home

It's official we are in the south, and home owners!!! We bought our first house in Summerville SC where we have been stationed for the remainder of our navy lives. We are enjoying getting everything in order and decorating (Amanda more so than Bryan) our place. The first two rooms finished were of course Chase and Lillians, we will post up more photos as things start to come together but wanted to share the hard work we put into our little ones. A special thanks to Nana Stewart for Lillians lovely nursery funiture.

Babies"R"Us - Baby Registry

Babies"R"Us - Baby Registry

Hi everyone...so with the move coming up so close to our due date, our families being long distance, and our lack of ability to traavel at this time, a baby shower is pretty much impossible to happen. We have however made a registry for those who have been asking and any friends and family wishing to send something to Miss Liliian. Our current address is on the registry for items to be shipped to. Thank you from us and Lillian.

Miss Lillian

Well we had our ultrasound to see Miss Lillian again and this time under better circumstances, however she was not very cooperative and gave them a hard time trying to get measurements and such. We did get a few photos and boy where they hard to get. That little lady would not hold still!! Our due date is right on track and she is definitely 100% girl. We can not wait to meet our little baby and we are one week away from being halfway there.

A big day for the Stewarts

Well after months of planning and a week of the entire city of Atlanta being shut down due to 6 inches of snow the wedding was a success!!! It started off hectic like any ones wedding day I'm sure only we had one extra little curve ball...a bridesmaid in LABOR!! God bless Cindy she got her hair and makeup done all while timing contractions and even made it down the aisle however left the reception a little bit early to finally go have that baby! Bryan and i rushed to the hospital as soon as the reception was over to go meet our new niece Camden! I was very happy to be there and to watch Bryan finally get to meet one of his nieces/nephews in the hospital where as he is usually unable to be down there.

After a long, exhausting, yet amazing wedding day we woke up the next morning to head to beautiful, warm, Jamaica for a honeymoon week of fun and relaxation! It was so much fun and so amazing to get to wake up next to my new husband everyday (not something we are use to at home). we swam with dolphins, climbed a waterfall, tubed down a river through the rain forest, spent hours relaxing on the amazing beach, and zip lined down a mountain. It was so hard to leave and even harder when we came home to 2 feet of snow and a windchill of 20 below brrrrrrr. I thought life we be a little boring without having the wedding to plan but ohhhh nooo not a dull moment, we need to start packing for our transfer wherever and whenever that may be!!!
